Our names are a small part of what identifies us as individuals in this world. But the idea of sending your name on a space flight to Mars aboard NASA’s Perseverance Mars Rover is pretty exciting. And that’s what I did earlier tonight (along with the 8 million others around the world) as part of NASA’s Send Your Name to Mars campaign. I was even issued a flight boarding pass to commemorate the occasion!

Just for signing my name up for the Mars adventure, NASA also awarded some pretty sweet Frequent Flyer Club points (even if it’s all for fun).

Just imagine the endless travel adventures one could go on if one had earned 313 million miles to use. Now there’s an exciting thought.
